Professional Development
When you work at GP, you’ll be among professionals who are at the top of their
game in their chosen career path. In order to maintain that type of leadership and
encourage growth, we require all employees to complete at least 20 hours of professional
development per year.
Your professional development hours may be completed by attending seminars, webcast
presentations, courses offered through a college or university, or participating
in programs offered through GP’s own GP University. Beyond that, we encourage
all employees to utilize their benefits to the fullest and
take part in our educational reimbursement program supporting a variety of educational
courses and professional certifications.
Polish your professional skills at GP University.
GPU brings you a diversity of personal and professional development resources, allowing
you the opportunity to learn and train in an individualized manner. We are continually
expanding our resources and training capabilities. We welcome you to work with us
to help upgrade these programs and identify other training resources so that everyone
has the opportunity to get the best in career development.
Learn on demand at our self-study library.
GPU houses a wide range of self-study materials for all your training needs. Formats
include DVD, webcasts, virtual seminars, textbooks, videotape, and more. Training
materials are maintained by the GPU librarian and may be checked out for use by
all employees of GP.
Move ahead on your career track at GP Leadership College.
